Two weeks in - meet our makers
We are two weeks into life at Helios Store and settling into the rhythms of running a small business. A huge thank you to everyone who has followed, shopped, shared or simply sent us words of encouragement. We couldn’t do this without you.
Now that we have a few weeks under our belts, it is the perfect time to tell you more about what we believe in and why we chose our very first set of suppliers. From talented independent makers to bold, values-led brands, our first collection is packed with creativity and colour, and we are delighted to share it with you.

What we stand for
From the beginning, we knew that Helios Store would be all about showcasing joyful products. We are here for bold design and beautiful things, but also the stories behind them. Supporting independent designers and makers is very important to us, and as we grow, we want Helios Store to be part of their success.
Sustainability is also a key focus for us. Every business, large and small, has a responsibility to think about its environmental impact, and we are committed to making conscious choices, from packaging to products and everything in between. We will strive to have sustainability at the core of everything we do.
We are thrilled with the products we already have, so let us introduce you to the brilliant brands we are currently stocking.

Our Suppliers
As soon as we came across Augusta Jewellery, we knew it had to be a part of the store. Handmade in Somerset, this brand draws on the bohemian magic of Glastonbury and Far East travels, blending radiant designs with responsibly sourced materials, and if that wasn’t enough, all packaging is eco-friendly and recyclable.
We are big coffee drinkers, so we were beyond excited to get supplies from a roastery that ticked every box: bold design, great taste, and values that align with our own. Girls Who Grind Coffee is a female-founded, independent roastery based in Warminster, Wiltshire. They exclusively work with women coffee producers, and their goal is to help build a fairer coffee sector while providing high-quality, ethically sourced coffee for all to enjoy, a mission we are very happy to support.
South London-based illustrator and designer Heather Evelyn offers colourful patterns in her stationery and gifting items, with a focus on unique handwriting. These are quality products, with all paper and cards FSC certified and traditionally printed. We love Heather’s use of colour and her unique approach to design, a perfect match for Helios Store!
Melissa Donne Studio prints and cards are a welcome addition to Helios Store, known for their vibrant colours and playful style. Melissa aims to spread joy through her work and add a bold statement to any space. All of the products are printed in the UK using FSC-certified paper and card, and Melissa prides herself on affordable but high-quality art that will brighten your home.
Founded by Anna and Tatiana, Nata Concept Store is where art, food and a playful touch come together, which is exactly what we love. Their food-inspired candles were irresistible! Hand-poured in their London studio using moulds they designed themselves, they oversee every part of the production process and the quality shows. Their eco-friendly, handmade and organic values make them perfect for Helios Store.
Yop & Tom products
At first, we weren’t sure if we were ready to expand our offering into food and drink, but then we came across some wonderful suppliers that we had to include in the store. NEMI Teas was one of these. Their vibrant packaging and delicious blends drew us in, but it was their ethos that sealed the deal. Not only do they supply eco-friendly, organic tea in plastic-free & biodegradable packaging, they also have an important social mission, employing refugees to give them local work experience and skills to help them enter the UK workforce and integrate with broader society.
One of the first suppliers that captured our imagination was Oli Olsen and their Helio Ferretti range. Oli Olsen is all about curating trend-led pieces from around the world. We were especially drawn to the Helio Ferretti collection, designed in Barcelona and full of practical yet playful everyday items. Fresh, creative and totally unique, we had to have some of their products for the design ethos alone.
As we were looking to expand our range of accessories, socks seemed an obvious choice, especially for Autumn/Winter. We can’t deny that what first attracted us to Pairs Socks was the colours, but on closer inspection, we saw the quality that was on offer. Founded in Scotland in 2020, they work with premium natural fibres like alpaca, mohair, merino and bamboo, all ethically sourced. The result? Cosy, comfy socks that are as sustainable as they are stylish. Just what we need heading into the cooler months.
If you are drawn to clean design, considered colour palettes, and beautifully made objects, you’ll love our Yod & Co products. Their carefully curated collections bring together emerging design talent from around the globe. We love their eye for detail and their mission to support young creatives, something we are proud to get behind.
As confessed stationery obsessives, we are so excited to stock Yop & Tom products! Their stunning notebooks and planners are made for people who appreciate beautiful design and thoughtful detail. All their paper is sustainably sourced, and the quality speaks for itself.
